Katie Gilden, Principal at Fiske & Company, Earns CVA Certification

Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Fiske & Company, one of South Florida’s leading CPA and consulting firms, announced that Principal, Katie Gilden, is now a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

The CVA designation is one of the country’s most distinguished and widely recognized credentials. The certification requires extensive training and a challenging examination process that leads to earning this prestigious credential. CVA applicants must hold a valid license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and demonstrate substantial business valuation experience.

Katie Gilden is a member of the firm’s Forensic Accounting and Litigation Services Practice Group. In addition to performing business valuations, she provides accounting and litigation support in the areas of fraud and professional negligence, assisting trustees, receivers, debtors-in-possession, and assignees for the benefit of creditors in carrying out various accounting and financial aspects of their fiduciary duties.

Gilden is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. She received her Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees from the University of Miami.
